“I have always been intrigued with the mind-body connection, emotions, and consciousness. At an early age, I realized I could interact with the world at a deep level. Through meditation, awareness, spiritual teachers & mentors, and universal guidance, I have been on a self-mastery path. Today, I deeply enjoy witnessing people uncover their potential. Every day continues as I uncover new treasures within myself, and I am grateful I can be of service to my communities.”
My Version of Healing
During my first years of practice, I became dedicated to exploring the root causes of sickness, dis-ease, and subluxation. Chiropractors use the term subluxation to describe a reduction of your innate ability to heal and adapt to your inner and outer world(s).
I am proud to be a Doctor of Chiropractic, and my adjustments most likely do not look like what you see on social media. I practice with safe, effective techniques that don’t require twists or tension. Chiropractic frameworks I utilize include Bio-Geometric Integration, Torque Release Technique, Thompson Technique, Sacral Occipital Technique, and Pierce Results. These techniques and tools I use expand Chiropractic beyond a bone out of place mentality, and into a global understanding of the body. To me, Chiropractic is a pathway to foster the innate ability you have to heal, maintain, grow, adapt, and evolve through life.
Even though I was dedicated and had great tools, some participants’ problems didn’t go away. I realized everyone who laid on the table had a story to tell. I listened as I analyzed their body for subluxations. One particular participant spoke about how their back pain made them feel like a failure as a grandfather. I got curious. I asked if they could fully be in the emotional suffering they expressed, and to my amazement, their body showed me a different area to adjust that wasn’t in the place of pain. After the adjustment, the grandfather not only was out of pain but more importantly able to play with his grandchildren. With awareness of the emotional component, I saw participants heal beyond the physical.
My version of Chiropractic has led me on a unique path as I provide care to the community. I am bravely stepping into this new work as a chiropractor because I continue to be in awe of its healing potential.
You are not alone.
People often tell me, you are really good at supporting someone through tough times. I humbly thank them and respond with a smile and say sometimes experience is the best teacher. My late 20s were a period of intense panic attacks, depression and not wanting to exist. I was drained from two decades of unresolved trauma, a difficult graduate program, and traumatic relationships with others and myself. I felt like every aspect of me was depleted, destroyed, or doomed. I am here today because of the support I received and my willingness to continue. I trusted in Buddhist insight that suffering can be the window to liberation. I have deep compassion for anyone going through moments of hardship. I understand at a personal level.
“You are not alone even in the thickest of woods, together we can be daringly compassionate in the face of suffering.”
